Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take many pictures this weekend. We went to Menominee, Michigan on Saturday with Rum Runner, Coral Dancer and Doc O Cal. We all had lunch at Murray’s Irish Pub and then Coral Dancer and Rum Runner head back to Sturgeon Bay. Doc O Cal (Cal and Susan) stayed overnight with us in Menominee and we headed back on Sunday morning. While the trip to Menominee was pretty rough, the ride back on Sunday morning was beautiful. All of the pictures I did take were of our friend’s boat (which I won’t post). After returning to our marina on Sunday, we took the boat back out and this time went to Lake Michigan where we anchored out in front of our friend’s cottage. This is a picture of their place from the water – the smoke was a little bon-fire they had going – in July!!

My friend, Kym, did take some pics of the Ruff Life while we were anchored out. Once I get those pictures, I’ll upload some!

After completing our trip across Lake Michigan, we were gearing up for the 4th of July weekend with the Erika and three of her girlfriends from college. We were lucky and had beautiful weather for the weekend. We anchored out on Friday at Green Island, stayed in port for Saturday, the 4th of July, and anchored out again on Sunday in Egg Harbor.
While cruising out on Friday, we came across a sandbar full of pelicans. We only see them occasionally up here.

Janie was demonstrating her Ruff Life again…she was pooped out from all of the excitement of having the girls on the boat.

Here is a picture at the beginning of the weekend…notice how clear eyed everyone looks! Steph had foot surgery a few weeks ago, so she was pretty much a free loader for the weekend as no one would let her do anything for herself…well, almost anything. She is sitting on the back bench hiding her leg. Sitting at the table are Erika, Megan and Nikki. Erika and Nikki are Scot’s daughters.

Now, the fun has begun…we left port and headed to Green Island for the day. The girls were enjoying all of the homemade dips and created a sport out of making cocktails for each other.

More pictures of the girls having fun…
